The "Kemerovo State University" was founded in 1974. At present it is a leading institution of higher education in Kuzbass and one of the largest institutions in Siberia. It is dynamically developing, having a distributed network of branches, providing training specialists and carrying out scientific research in a wide range of lines. The head Kemerovo State University includes 12 faculties training highly qualified specialists for educational systems of all levels, law machinery and justice, bank structures and leading branches of the economy.
