The regular practice is invitation of French native-speakers from Belgium and France for the whole period of the academic year to teach students of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology. The model of students exchange between the KemSU and institutes of translators of Belgium is efficiently working. prospects of interaction with Master's and post-graduate courses of educational institutions of Germany are also (and being) expanded.

At present students and postgraduates from China, Mongolia and Turkey study at the KemSU. In the spirit of good-neighbourliness the KemSU extends friendly relations with the Centers of International Exchange of the Liaoning Province and of Qingdao City in China, the foundation being laid there for joint educational institutions; the KemSU branch functions in the capital of Mongolia, with a structure having analogy to a center of continuing education; teaching Turkish at the University and the Municipal Classical Lyceum favours the development of further possible intercultural and business contacts with institutions of higher education in Turkey.

Yearly over 60 lecturers and students of the University go abroad on different kinds of academic and business trips (courses in foreign languages, participation in educational exhibitions, research study courses, business talks). In turn, the KemSU receives up to 50 foreign guests invited for studies at different faculties, lecturing, joint scientific research.
